Luxury on the Nile:Ancient Egyptian Wonders

It was a wonderful although tiring trip that I would recommend. We picked Vantage out of the other choices because of the extension to Petra as will as the Nile cruise was 7 days. Both Adventure leaders, Hazem and Maged were excellent giving us information and also there is we needed them. While this was to be on the new ship the Nebo which was not yet ready for sailing, the Serenity was okay (my wife disagrees). But one disappointment that Vantage should be upfront on is that if you are booked on the port side (at least on our trip) you will see the Nile River only on the sailing days. Otherwise, you will be staring at another ship two feet from you. We were looking forward on times and days we had when the ship was docked to have a drink and relax on our small but nice veranda. Not possible and it was very annoying and we our opinion should have been forwarded by Vantage. But the history, the scenery, the people, the food, the other places we stayed, the special events like have a could of temple events at night with only Vantage there, were worth it and wonderful. Thank you Hazem and Maged. I rated the accommodations "good" instead of higher only because of the Serenity.
