PACING:

• This adventure is moderately-paced
• Your adventure is 19 nights. In New Zealand, you’ll stay 3 nights in Auckland and 4 nights in Queenstown. In Australia, stay 4 nights in Sydney, 4 nights in Cairns, 2 nights in Melbourne, and 2 nights in Ayers Rock
• Some of your daily excursions last a full day, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while other days offer a half day of sightseeing with some free time
• Transportation modes include planes, buses, and two long motorcoach transfers in New Zealand. During long coach drives, rest stops and visits en route are arranged

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This is a tour for active travelers
• There is easy to moderate walking on this adventure, but travelers should be able to walk 1-2 miles unassisted
• Some exploration takes place on dirt roads and paths, including in the desert and forested areas
• Swimming and snorkeling is optional during your Great Barrier Reef cruise

TERRAIN & TRANSPORTATION:

• Sightseeing is via deluxe, air-conditioned motorcoach
• All tours involve some walking to and from motorcoaches, in museums, and some areas of the Outback
• There is minimal stair climbing on this New Zealand and Australian adventure
