PACING:

• This itinerary has a moderate pace
• Spend 5/6 nights aboard your Deluxe Seine river ship with plenty of time to enjoy the wonders along the Seine River, with its rich history, fantastic architecture, and many cultural highlights
• Includes daily port visits with included sightseeing
• In some cases, there will be a choice of tours
• Overnight and full-day stays in many ports, with time for daytime touring and sightseeing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This Seine River cruise itinerary features included walking tours in Paris and France’s iconic Normandy region
• In some locations, on our guided tours, there will be alternatives for more-active walkers versus less-active walkers
• There is no elevator aboard your Deluxe Seine river ship; as such, this cruise is not suitable for travelers using mobility aids like walkers and wheelchairs

TERRAIN & TRANSPORTATION:

• Some of the walking tours are on uneven terrain, such as cobblestone walkways
• Motorcoaches are used whenever possible to bring you as close to the pedestrian centers as the historic preservation of these older towns and cities allow
• Panoramic city tours use air-conditioned private motorcoaches

CLIMATE:

• Since the weather is unpredictable, please check weather sites online for 10-day forecasts closer to your departure date to plan your packing accordingly
• Rainfall averages about 6-9 days a month throughout the year; bring an umbrella, suitable walking shoes, and, depending on the time of year, a light or heavyweight jacket
