This once-a-decade performance is a truly unforgettable experience based on centuries-old promise. Back in the 1630s, the village was facing a plague. The locals made a vow to perform a passion play every ten years, and miraculously, the village survived. So the villagers have fulfilled their pledge for hundreds of years, putting on an elaborate spectacle using only talent from Oberammergau itself.  Conveniently, the play is in two parts, and we’ll have an included dinner that provides a delightful interlude during which we can relax and discuss the play. This is an unforgettable experience, and you’ll be among a select group of people who have ever seen this rare event.
